For me personally while my car is under warranty I will run the Supercar 0w-40 (or 0w-40 Dexos2 ESP). Once my car is out from warranty I will probably switch over to Castroil 0w-40 at that point. BUT if you never track its fine to us 5w-30 in a SPEC 0w-40 car like mine. Per Chevy and 0w-40 is a bitch to find. Advanced full synthetic formula.
